Free Printable Birthday Invitations with Retro Themes

By Will Apse

There are so few free, printable birthday party invitations on the web, I decided to put up a few of my own.

If people like them, I will add some more.

My favourite themes are retro- images from the fifties, sixties and seventies- plus poster art from the first half of the twentieth century.

Anybody can can make similar cards if they have the patience to learn a few graphics software tricks. Gimp is a free software utility similar to Photshop. I can't pretend that it is super easy to learn but it certainly rewards your efforts. Windows Paint will do an OK job and Paint is a program anyone can learn in half an hour.

I have combed the web for other, genuinely free, printable invites for adults. The best links are at the bottom of the page.
