Something about Zynga games brings out the competitor in all of us. There is no need to hurry in Frontierville. Like every Zynga game you can enjoy it at any pace that you want. If you are ambitious, though, and you want to zoom through those levels, you need to give the game some thought and hunt down a few tips and tricks.
Frontierville is described by its creators as a 'Wild West strategy, resource management and family life sim'. This gives you an idea of what you will need to pay attention to as the game unfolds.
One of the first things you notice is that everything you do uses up energy but results in a reward. To rise through the game efficently you need to make the optimum choices at each stage so that you get the best returns for the energy used.
For leveling up you need experience points. The more quickly you get them, the quicker you will rise to the higher (and more exciting) levels. To get experience points you need to keep up your income from crops, animals, trees and quests. Again, this means wise resource and energy management.
3 Tips for Absolute FrontierVille Beginners
Watch the Tutorial
- This shouldn’t need saying except we all want to skip ahead to the fun part! Whilst there is nothing in the tutorial that you can’t work out for yourself, you might not be clicking on everything that you should. So, if you are a novice, it is worth a look.
Fullscreen it
- There is an icon in the bottom right of your game screen that will give you full screen mode This makes everything easier as well as being more enjoyable.
Speed Up
- If your game is running slowly try a different browser. Internet Explorer is by far the slowest browser for online games.
FrontierVille and FarmVille: Similarities and Differences
If you are thinking of switching from Frontierville from Farmville, it is worth looking at the differences in the game play.
In Farmville you grow crops, trees and animals to get XP and Coins. Crop Mastery gives bonuses for growing a crop a certain number of times.
FrontierVille is similar. There are crops, trees and animals again and these are at the heart of getting coins and XP. Instead of Crop Mastery- an element tacked on to Farmville by Zynga after several months- there are collections and quests.These give you long term goals with the ultimate prize of a full and bustling community, instead of just an isolated farm.
FrontierVille is much more structured because of the quests. You are obliged to explore every part of the game play, if you want to get ahead,
Should You Quit FarmVille for FrontierVille?
Quitting FarmVille for FrontierVille is something I would only do if you are very near the beginning of Farmville or very near the end. FrontierVille is a fun game but so is FarmVille. If you have invested a lot of time in FarmVille and you have a great and prosperous farm, see it through! FrontierVille will be waiting as new challenge for later. Zynga will have ironed out all the bugs in a few months. too...
The Storyline and Quests
There is a continuing storyline in the game. In the beginning, you are building up your plot so your wife or husband to be will come out West. As you proceed you will raise a family and continue to develop your farm.
In the later levels, we are promised a more all-round experience than FarmVille. Players will be rewarded for developing businesses like a general store. The more your farm specializes in any enterprise, the more you will need to interact with other players at the market and so on. I don’t think anyone has reached the later levels yet, so it will be interesting to see how things work out!
A lot of the quests revolve around the storyline. Early quests are related to getting ready for your spouse to join you. Later on, you are creating a whole community with stores, a school and inns.
You can only have four quests open at any one time. This might mean you miss out on any new, seasonal, quests (like the recent 4th July quest) so maybe three is a good number to chase at any one time.

Collections
There are at least 37 collections that can be made in the game with everything from wildflowers to snakes. When you have collected enough of each you are prompted to turn them in for a reward. This means that you get more than just gold or XP for a particular activity. You are collecting a nice bonus as well. Complete the horse collection, for example, and you are given a free mule.There is a list of all the things that are collectable here

Everyday Tasks are Important!
Don’t be tempted to ignore bears or snakes. For one thing they give gold and XP when they are clobbered or scared. For another, the proximity of a bear slows down the rate at which your resources develop.
This is one way the game makers have of rewarding players who are paying attention.
Also get any collectibles from varmints quickly or they will disappear never to return!
Friends and Neighbors
Neighbors are important. You will often find yourself short of small items in this game. It might be something as simple a nail to finish a building. When you do find this, you will need those friends to give you what you need. Don’t be embarrassed about asking for help- everybody else will be doing the same thing, from time to time!
You will also find yourself short of energy for all your tasks. This means spending on food at the market or a quick (and inexpensive) visit to your neighbors to recharge!
You will also boost your reputation by visiting people. This means you have more to offer others, as they will get more income for hiring you to do tasks. Get a high reputation and you will be very popular and more people will want to be your neighbor. In other words, it is a virtuous circle.
One more and, perhaps, the most important advantage, is that you can’t get all the available crops until you have enough neighbors.

Game Time- FrontierVille New Day
The game is reset every day at 8PM EST. So if you are waiting to send gifts, visit neighbors for rewards again etc, etc, this is the time you are waiting for.
Currency in Frontierville
There are two main currencies in the game, Frontierville coins (gold) which is picked up from most of the tasks that you do, and horseshoes which are harder to come by. Horseshoes are essential for some tasks and many horseshoes equals faster leveling.
There are horseshoes to be had from some of the collections- for example, the school collection. You will also be given a horse shoe every time you level up. If you want to top up your horse shoes though, you need to use a credit card.
There is no doubt that you are at an advantage in the game if you are willing to invest through your credit card but you can get by without doing this. You will just be leveling more slowly but perhaps more authentically. Remember, no one had had a credit card on the real frontier- they were happy to own a mule and the shirt on their back. A bottle of whiskey might also have helped sometimes (but we won’t talk about that!)
The FrontierVille Economy
Besides gold and horseshoes there are the two main resources of food and wood to think about. Food is important because it can be traded for energy.
Food is obtained by harvesting crops and trees as well from activities like land clearing. Not all crops give food though- clover and tomatoes, for instance, can be harvested quickly but only give coins and XP. Also some crops grow slowly but give more food per hour than quick crops. It is worth checking the tables to see what you will get for the coins you spend at the market on crops: FrontierVille Crops
Wood is always available in the early stages- there are plenty of trees on the frontier to chop down. The bigger the tree the more the wood you get. At the same time you can get a lot from news feeds (see how below) without any energy expenditure.
You can get wood without burning energy by chopping down trees on neighbor's homesteads, too!

FrontierVille Energy
The game in many ways is about managing your energy expenditure and getting the things that you need to move forward. Energy refreshes at a rate of only 1 every 5 minutes, but you are awarded 5 for the first visit to a neighbor and 1 every next visit, daily, Everytime you level up, you get a full energy bar,
You can buy meals in the market area, under the ‘Energy’ tab. At the moment you can trade about 33 food for 3 energy, If you are using a credit card you can buy a lot more energy with horseshoes.
Your energy bar will hold more energy as you go through the levels. At level 1, the bar can hold 10 energy, at level 10 it will hold 18 energy and at level 20 it will hold about 30. Don't be surprised if these figures change as Zynga refines the game- it is still in beta.
One thing that should be pointed out- your energy bar can hold extra energy if the energy comes from visiting neighbors. So if your max is 10 and you already have 10 when you visit a neighbor you will notice your energy bar suddenly has 15 or 11 (you get 5 from a first visit, 1 from a second visit).
Is it fair for Zynga to expect Money?
Casual players will never need to use a credit card. If you play an hour a day, you should never run into the energy wall- especially if you making sure you get all the bonuses, If you want to play longer and make it a big part of you recreational activities, maybe it is fair. You pay for videos or cable TV or a magazine, why not pay a little for this game? On the other hand, do Zynga really need to make so much from the game? It is your choice completely.
FrontierVille Weather
Keep an eye on the weather and any bonuses that might be available. 'Cool and a chance of rain' ,for instance, means bonus coins, if you harvest.
FrontierVille Levels- Where are You Headin'?
There are a hundred levels in Frontierville. The names are not too complimentary until you get at least half way through. 'Yellowbellied Tenderfoot' is Level 1, 'Addle-headed Pilgrim' is Level 24, plain old 'Slack-jawed' is level 43!
It is only at level 49 that you earn an accolade as 'Handy Dandy' before becoming 'Right Smart' at level 50.
FrontierVille Gifts
You have the power to send thirty gifts a day. Try to send all of them and spread them around as widely as you can. This should mean you are sent many free gifts in return. Your neighbors should also be be more responsive when you ask for something you need!
Wish Lists Work!
Keep an eye on the things you need for upcoming quests and add them to your wish list as quickly as you can. Help out others with items on their wish list and if the great Bear smiles on you, you will be rewarded in time.
FrontierVille News Feed Filter
Checking the wall is one way to see what is on offer from friends and neighbors. Another way is to use the newsfeed.
How to set up the FrontierVille Newsfeed
- Open your Facebook homepage
- Find “Top News”- you should be their already!
- “Edit Options” is near the bottom of the page
- Click “Applications”
- You should see FrontierVille. Click “Add To NewsFeed”

How to Sell an Animal in FrontierVille
Selling animals has thrown a few people. so here is the solution: you simply delete the animal in question.
Click "tools' on the right of the screen, select delete, click this then click the animal. Easier than herding them to market over the mountain!
Get a Horse for Energy
Horses are great for energy. If your neighbors have horses too, even better. Every time you click your own horse or a neighbor's horse you get one energy. Unfortunately, this only works once a day.
Thorny Problem
There is a quest that makes you set your child to clearing thorns. This means it is best to leave at least 5 thorn patches when you first clear land. If you have already cleared your thorns, you can buy some at the market but they are expensive. Sometimes, if you chop some trees you will find thorns.
Its Tough to Get Ahead at the Beginning so go for the Bonuses!
If you look at the mathematics you realize it isn’t so easy to zoom ahead in this game. Energy is the key to getting things done and energy is hard to come by.
Of course, energy replenishes at the rate of 1 unit every 5 minutes but this means it will take over two hours to get a mere 25 units of energy. Also your energy bar only holds a limited amount. This is why energy management is so important in this game. Wasting energy will slow your leveling down drastically.
This all means that in the early levels at least you need to be a busy, busy farmer. You will be chopping trees, clobbering snakes, scaring bears and visiting those all important neighbors for all you are worth! This is where bonuses come in useful.
The video shows the result of clicking like crazy on crops that are ready to harvest. The bonuses just keep coming! The trick is to collect (click) on the XP and coin rewards before the meter at the top of the page runs out. You get a 5 coin bonus each time!
Are there any FrontierVille Cheats, Hacks or Glitches to exploit?
In Farmville, the classic way to speed up the game was to trap your farmer with haybales. This meant the little guy didn’t waste time walking around doing the tasks you assigned him. Whatever you commanded was done instantly. In FrontierVille, this is not an option. Zynga have ironed out this flaw (option?)..
This doesn't mean that hacks and cheats won't appear. There are probably a hundred thousand people right now, working away on that FrontierVille code. Right now, though, we seem to be safe to just play the game without the cheats getting ahead of us!

Its on Facebook alright.. However, Facebook is not allowing all players to play the game... Several people including myself cannot get into any Zynga game right now...And if we are lucky to get in, for some reason, the game has 'lost the internet connection' and when we refresh, then Facebook pops up with 'Facebook has encountered an error'. I have tried up to 15 times to get into Zynga games with no success...Facebook has taken the two best games it is hosting and ruined them both....
Joe- there are a lot of bugs at the moment. The game is still in 'Beta' and a lot of things are changing daily or going out of synch. Friend's records and friend's ladders were a casualty, recently.

How long does it take for you to be able to "HIRE" your neighbor again after two uses?
I am at level 19 and have 19 energy unit capacity on the energy bar. My wife, at level 17, finds 31 or even 41 energy units on her bar sometimes. What's up

when an animal or person is behind a structure, how do you access them? My wife is stuck behind the house and there's a fox on the other side of my general store and I can't get to them.
I heard from someone that if you completely fence in one area of your homestead then grass and skulls and stuff won't appear inside that fenced in area.. is this true? I wanna know before I spend money on the fences haha
Crystal, i dont know if its true but i have noticed that grass doesnt ever grow in my fenced in areas. this could just be a coincidence tho.
Randy- you should be able to get you wife back my using the customize your characters option. You go to your 'Family Album' in 'My Stuff'(bottom of screen),select 'customize', choose the character that is lost and hit 'play'. The character should head to wherever you next click.
You can also buy a dinner bell from the market. Ring that and all the characters on your farm including neighbors, will appear.
Sorry I have no answer for the stuck fox. A lot of things are getting stuck like this- bears, especially. We will have to wait for Zynga to fix the glitch.
Alyssa- I know wildflowers won't grow where there are animals like goats (that eat them) or too near buildings. I don't know about fenced-in areas on their own. Of course, fencing in any area and installing an animal will work.

Couple of corrections... it still says 3 minutes for 1 energy in the "It's Tough To Get Ahead" section. Also, same section, it doesn't cost energy to plant a crop.

I always wondered why FrontierVille was running so slowly on my computer (I used internetexplorer).
After I read your hub I changed it to chrome and now it runns exellent. Thanks for pointing this out, wouldn´t have had the idea that I only had to change browsers to speed the game up ;-)

If you use delete on a fox,bear,snake, or groundhogs it will delete them and get rid of red but not give you any bonuses. PS: You have to refresh for red to be gone.

oooooook...soo...VERY VERY VERY usefull!! seriously...im on level 18 and im addicted lol.... i think its a really great game and thanks to Soren for that tip ... i really hate the fact though that theres not alot of decorations in the market but i guess as the game gets more popular and everything new decorations will arrive..and also hate the fact that all the nice things u need horse shoes to buy.. and i need to keep spendin my horse shoes on my buildings which is annoyin lol ... other than that.. i can really say that i love this game im also using chrome , soooooo much more faster than internet explorer, would be nice if u had a game bar on chrome aswell though.. soon enough i hope lol!!! also it would be better if u could move ur tree's around even after they've grown.. :)) just saying though.. i know this game is still knew so im not to fussed about the things its lacking .. xxxx
I have to agree about the decorations x..dReA..x. They eat up horse shoes like crazy. There should be a coins option even if they were expensive in coins too!
A couple things:
Horses give you a set number of energy for each level of growth. They give 10 when they are fully grown, but they take 2.5 days to be hungry, so it takes a little while to grow them. They don't use energy, because they give you energy. Same with Mules. They give you 3 energy at their adult size. They will not, however, give you much return if you try to sell them, so don't sell them. Why would you want to, if they give you energy, anyway?
Second, the thorny problem is 5 thorns, not four.
Last, there can be 5 quests open now at a given time, and some are easier than others. I would recommend this page:

You are probably right about the thorns- I did that quest a while ago and it is probably one of the many things that has been changed in the last month.
Will this game ever get a final version? I'm guessing not!
Im at level 22 and for the past several days I only have 2 quests available. Despite collecting cabin bonuses (I have 2 cabins)for 7-10 days, I still cant get the welcome mat so I have yet to see the first schoolhouse mission. I have collected the schoolhouse bonus about 7 days as well and cant seem to get past the two quests Ii hae going. Currently I am waiting..not so patiently..for my sheep to grow up. Lower level neighbors have completed several school missions as I wait and wait and wait. I thought we were supposed to have 3-5 quests available..anyone else stuck with just 2
I'm at level 15 now. My husband and son are at level 4--both were on my neighbor list but don't show up now. When I click on the tab "my neighbors" they're both there as well as some other friends at low levels, but they don't show up and I can't visit them unless I'm idle for awhile and the little window pops up saying that so-and-so needs help would I like to visit them. I tried "firing" my husband and son as neighbors and inviting the back again. It didn't work. Any ideas?
A lot of people seem to be losing up to a third of their neighbors.
There are a lot of bugs but I'm sure Zynga are working hard to fix them so maybe just wait a while and try deleting and re-inviting again. Sorry I can't help more Sandi.
good tips here....except the one about animals.
if you grow an animal all the way to maturity and sell it, you will make back all the cash you paid for it plus some extra food...dont simply delete them :)
My max energy level hasn't changed at all even though I've leveled up several times. I'm level 29 and my max energy is 22. Does that seem right?
try being stuck with zero quest, I, at one time did have 5 quest going. 2 weeks ago, i had zero quest, then they opened up the school quest, went thru all those in a couple days, then zero quest again for about a week, then they put in the UNfed critters, did all those in a day or 2, and have not had a quest since, what was that about a week ago with the UNfed critters? lol lev 51 and need to gain 13,000 points to more up :(
Items that drop from doing things do not "disappear forever"... you still get them when the disappear from the screen, they just don't go toward the bonus meter.

I've been trying for weeks to find a welcome mat. I now have 3 cabins but it hasn't helped. At one point in time I must have had one because that collection has been completed. Several of my friends need the mat too. Is there an easier way of finding it or something I can do besides just clicking collect bonus each day on the cabins?
I finally got my welcome mat (from collecting cabin bonus)the day after I posted my message above. I begged my neighbors to send me one also..good thing they didnt because completing the mission took it..therefor you CANNOT send back like I thought. Once I finished that mission, I had more pop up. I was up to 5 at one time, but am backdown to 3 now. Apparently the order of the missions is random. I have lower level neighbors that already have built chicken coops, I have not. As a matter of fact I have no building missions at all right now..and I still havent had a school house mission come up. Im stuck still trying to get one more ribeye to feed the teacher. She is one greedy witch, aint she! Any who, those waiting on welcome mat..it will eventually come up, I think it probably took me close to 2 week to get it. Also for any new folks, a word of advice..DONT traded in those collections as soon as you get them..check to see if you are going to need that stuff for future missions. There are mission lists all over the internet! Some of the items are next to impossible to get again so check before you give it up!
how do you find "unfed" animals -- they're always hungry!!!
Friends send me supplies for my general store, and when i'm almost done completing it, all the supplies (hammer, nails, hand drill) disappear and i can't get them back. How do I fix this?
Love the guide. I'm so happy for that little "cheat/trick" you showed at the bottom. I'm rather bored with FarmVille (it's become quite monotonous) and FrontierVille looks like the best place to go!

What level do you have to be to start building the inn?
Did you know that if a goundhog appears while you are harvesting, and all crops turn red.. just click on move and move them to a free area.. works every time.
I have noticed when I am on neighbours 'visiting' and click on 5 things to do.. when am collecting hearts etc.. often it clicks on more than 5 things.. have had 7 at one time.. then page needs a re-fresh and I lose it all. Annoying!

The Inn is level 1 Kayla and you need 11 neighbors. It can be bought at the market
You will need nails, bricks, paint bucket, hand drill and hammer to construct it.
im on like level 24 and i have too many goals to see them all. i also cant get to my mystery gifts that i've accepted because they pop up in that area(or so i was told) is there any way i can see all of my goals at once?
Kayla, you can start building the Inn as soon as you see it available for purchase. I bought the inn and the schoolhouse at the same time.
Each building takes more whacks and more tools to complete
I think the School was 8 of each tool, the inn was 10 of each, the chicken coop 15 of each and the sawmill is 40 whacks and 20 of each (paint, nails, etc)
Once the school is open you will start to need lots of ribbon plus all those school supplies (spitballs, ink, etc)
I too have become quite addicted to this game and enjoy it a lot. One thing I started and my son has followed suit on is to create additional Facebook profiles just for playing games. This way I can send myself daily free items and also items from my collections. My son is "growing" 6 cabins just so he can get the elusive welcome mat. But be careful--if you think you spend a lot of time with ONE profile, wait til you have 3 or 4 homesteads to tend!
I discovered a great glitch that has since been corrected. Recently Facebook gave away free credits to most/all users. I got 25 free credits on 2 accounts and 10 on another. That equated to $2.50 and $1.0 respectively to use on any game (Zynga or Playfish or others). I used mine to buy 16 horse shoes on my main player and having saved a bunch of coins, I was able to buy 4 horses. (Insert end of the world joke here[ ] ).
Then I lost the dern internet connection and had to refresh the page. When I did I noticed the coins and shoes were still there as if I didn't buy anything --but also the horses were still there as well!! I bought 20 horses before I decided that was enough. I used the remaining shoes on nails and paint and alas, they went away as expected.
A similar glitch also occurred with the fireworks. When I finally got a prarie pile (not hard with 20 horses!) and made fireworks, I planted 5 in my field. But when I went back to the inventory, it kept saying I had 5. Again, I was able to plant about 20 or 30 before I got bored with it. Fireworks, by the way, sell for 500 coin after you have fun setting them off.
These glitches have been fixed but keep an eye out. Who knows what else will go wrong (or right depending on your perspective)!
One more tip from me for now. Around level 22 I have stopped trading in collections as I have discovered too many goals require certain items--RARE items! I think I actually traded in a cabin collection before I needed the welcome mat for the school mission.
Once you complete a goal and you get the needed items again, save them for bartering with neighbors. "Trade ya 2 bees for a ribeye!"
do anybody here have tried the cheat engine on frontierville? if so, you must not play at all! cheater!
@ynah There are all kinds of things wrong with that sentence. Things like cheat engine don't work on online games like FarmVille and FrontierVille.
I have completed 4 of the school tasks and now it wont allow me to go to the next one. Any idea why? I am probably a level 24 or so...
I have been trying to finish the quest where you tend "unready chickens" forever, and cannot figure out how to do it. There's not anything in the quest that's helpful, and when I go to a neighbor, all their chickens are always 'ready' or 'hungry' - any ideas?
You need to find a chicken without an arrow on it, Hillbilly, which is not easy. You could ask a neighbor to feed the chickens or let you know when they do.
You can 'feed' a chicken, then on same visit try to 'tend' unready chicken. Can only get couple per visit, but that's how i did it.

You get downy feathers when you trade in the chicken coop collection or the Goose Collection. So you need to to do a lot of chicken and goose feeding. And always look out for those daily bonuses from the chicken coops!

Hillbilly--the unready chicken quest is one reason I created 2 additional accounts. That way I could plant 5 chicks, feed them and then right away go to my main character and tend them.
That sounds pretty, sneaky wavking. I might try it! But only when I've made sure it won't cost me my account.
AJ- a lot of people want a second kid on Frontierville but I'm not sure Zynga have any plans for this.

It says that the more hearts you get, the more times you can visit other homesteads daily. How many do you need before you get to visit more than the 5 times?

I don't think anyones spouse or child physically grows during the game. It would be fun though if you ended up with a gawky teenager who refuses to do the chores and skips school to watch Hillbilly gigs!
The hearts thing is more to do with reputation, Annah. Ten visits to neighbors bumps your heart rating (reputation) up a level, meaning bigger rewards for being hired.
I have got to the miss wildcat bit, and it comes up and says completed, then it says I have lost the internet connection, but I havent, its only the game telling me that, how can I carry on with the game, Im stuck

Jane, I had the same problem but it resolved itself when I let all the pop-ups appear and then visiting a neighbor without clicking on them....coincidence maybe but worth a try
Everytime i first open my game I click on my purple present that says "You've Got Gifts!" but the icon just flies away and no other box pops up showing what gifts I have been given. What is up with this???? It works after a couple of times of having to re-go in and out of the game but by that time the first icon is gone and the gifts seem to be too! This is frustrating. Can you shed some light on this?
Sorel commented that if a snake/bear/fox etc,... pops up to just delete them and they will go away (but you won't get any coin, etc,... for them)
I don't have a delete option,... (Do I?) I thought it might be in the tend bar but theres no delete in there. How do we delete them?

please please help me, o am about to quit frontierville!!!!!!!! I love this game but i can't play it on my pc. Most of function works except for one, the most important one. What i dont understadn is why I get a prompt to "Your friend Sean needs help at his homestead, go there now" and when i get there I have no energy for tasks and I cant do anything......and it doesnt help that they dont tell you what needs to be done...I find this silly.
About the avaitor being hid behind something to where you cant get to him or her, have you tried moving the object he/he is hiding behing. I had that problem. I was behind the tree and could not click on myself to do another task. I had to move the tree.
I am currently on level 6, and have been asked to finnish building my cabin. The only problem is is that I already completely finished building it ( with tool and paint, etc) two levels ago. Now it won't check off the completed quest list in the corner of my screen. Will I have to start building a new cabin? Please help!
I have been trying for a week to get the 2 bacon for the checking for breakfast quest. Any suggestions? I have multiples from everything else in the pig collection, and all i've been doing on neighbor visits is feeding and grooming pigs. Also can't seem to get clover tea - have harvested over 100 clover. Any suggestions?
Grooming pigs is a job no lady (or gentleman) should need do too often, Wendy! The clover tea seems slow for everyone but it does come eventually.
One of my current chores is to build a storage shed. However, when I go to the Market it does not allow me to purchase. It says “Current Maximum Reached” and the button to “Buy” does not appear. Any ideas on what to do in this case?

Yay!!! Finally got my bacon and my clover tea. However, now I only have 2 quests showing up...the making fancy clothes one to get married and the first expansion quest. Do I have to finish those before I get the next one??

Just an FYI, putting up a fence does not stop your grass from growing, it is the space between animals, if you have your animals spread out enough grass will not grow.
I've completed the part of one quest that asks you to 'groom' 10 neighbor chickens on 2 accounts. But it hasn't accounted for it. Is this glitched? And are they gonna fix it? I wanna move on, had that quest forever and was relieved to finish it. Only to have it not count..

I would also like info on having missions over 5...do we still have those missions, or have they now disappeared? I think it may have disappeared, as I did not yet finish the mission for having your child clear 5 thorns, and I got a new take care of your child mission. I have been working really hard on this back to school mission since it expires, only needing a few country fair tickets, and now it doesn't show!
I am happy to report that Frontierville has solved the mission issue. There is now an option under the 'My Stuff' button labeled 'Missions'. This feature allows us to view more than 5 missions at a time. I must say, this game just gets better...
Finally got that option today, and all my missions were there...lol, with 15 hours to spare on the expiring one when I saw it. oh well.
I am on level 42 and with no missions. Is there anymore to come?

I cannot see the bottom half of the frontierville screen ever. This means I cannot visit neighbors, the market, my collections, etc. Is there a fix for this? (I also can no longer see the option to play 'full screen', to work around this problem...)
Lori: the thing that probably is ur problem is that ur web browser has a interface scale thats bigger than ur computer. if u use IE 7+ u have a scale in lower right corner, it should say 100% if it does, lower it to 75% and look what happend, if u use firefox, it has the same, and if u use google chrome, it some the same deal, but insted press down ctrl and klick on the ( - ) sub key ... hope this can help ur problem

I've noticed that when visiting neighbours, feeding some animals gives extra energy (even if I don't get the regular energy bonus) - so far I think rabbits and ferrets give two energy and mules give one. Only a couple of my high-level neighbours have them, though! Anyone know similar things to look out for?
I would like to get an inn but I don't have enough neighbors. Can I obtain the inn by getting to a specified level? Or must I find more neighbors somewhere.
Why can't my neighbors visit me any more. I am at level 43 and all of a sudden none of my neighbors can visit. The pop up window that says loading...I'll have you there in a jiffy stays up and will not go away.
I wanted to buy a horse so I saved 4 horseshoes but the Horse is no longer in the store.. What's going on? Is this a glitch or have they been removed completely? Thanks for your help.

Omer - had the same problem with one of my neighbors; others had trouble visiting her as well. It started when she finished the 'paths' quest. After a few days, I am now able to visit her again.
QUERY: Neighbor visits. Some evenings, I get the visitor bonuses for almost everyone I visit. Some evenings, I get no bonuses, or just one or two bonuses. Does anyone know the rules for receiving the visiting bonuses??

have trouble with tasks involving asking friends for stuff eg baby clothes, as when click on it get message, frontierville has encountered an error please try later, have had this for 4 days now, have cleared cache, changed from google chrome back to internet explorer but still gettting it, any ideas anyone

I have finished the child mission, but then the game refreshes and I have to start all over again. I am not sure what is happening. I have tried four times and I still can't seem to keep my child!
I haven't had any missions for days,and my old missions have disappeared. Any ideas?
I need a bear to appear and I cut down all of my trees I replanted but its taking forever for them to grow ...i cut some down before they were fully grown but no bears how can i get a bear???
Bears usually only appear when you cut down a fully grown tree.
A quick note (and potential tip) for those of you who are trying to get certain collectables but aren't getting them. I read somewhere that you can only collect 10 of an item in each collection, so don't turn in your collections, and start hoarding the other items in the collection where you're trying to get the rare one. That way, when you do get a collectable, the chance of you getting the one you want is increased. Seems to have worked for me :)
You can have more than 4 quests open at a time...it keeps track of them all. You just have 4 show up on the sidebar at a time.
I am level 24 and have around 5 missions that require an inn the problem is i don't have enough neighbors to get one and buying 21 horseshoes is out of the question any ideas on how to get an inn?
Never just delete an animal, they are worth money, sell them and take the gold coins. My tip. If you open your game and you have multiple skulls, click on one of them to get the snake to appear. DO NOT CLOBBER! With the snake there, go click the rest of the skulls and no more snakes will appear, then go clobber the original snake. You can have a ton of missions open. On the left of the screen is a notepad, click it to open a page showing all your incomplete missions. You can have as many collectibles as you can find. I currently have close to 50 of each of the flowers. If your at level 22 and need an OX for the OXEN Mission. Ask your neighbors who are at or over level 23 to gift you one.
why can very few of us get the bear in the last 12 days of christmas mission ive cut down alot of trees all sizes and no bear its now the 7th of jan witch mean the mission is over ive asked 3 times to fix it so i can finish it
So Im lvl 22 on frontierville and I can hold up to 17 energy why and how do I get it to where I can hold more I thought my energy would be at the same lvl im at??

Does your energy start going up again in the later levels or did you buy additional energy with horseshoes? I am level 66 and my bar only goes to 33, but I have never bought energy with horseshoes. I also have over 3 million coins, all but 6 of the jackalope badges, have completed all but 3 of the collections, and have about 50000 each of wood and food. Just curious how you get so much energy!

Cleared all of my land and now I have several missions that require clearing grass and rocks off of my homestead (clearing neighbors homesteads doesn't work). I know that grass will begin to grow if I leave my homestead alone. Any clue how long this process will take?

To get the cannon missions, you can go to the market and buy them. You can buy the second child mission too.
